<body><p>STORY: From Jensen Huang's star turn at Computex to Anthropic's move to go public...</p><p>This is AI Weekly.&nbsp;</p><p>:: AI Weekly</p><p>Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang headlined Computex in Taiwan.</p><p>He showed off Nvidia's new Vera central processing unit - or CPU.</p><p>And he unveiled the RTX Spark PC chip, which brings AI capabilities directly into laptops and desktop computers.</p><p>“There is no question this reinvention of the computer is as big of a deal as the reinvention of the phone into what we now know as the smartphone. And so this is the beginning of that journey."</p><p>The Nvidia boss was a big draw at Computex, and dined with executives from the likes of Samsung and SK Hynix.</p><p>Dell shares rocketed higher after the computer maker lifted revenue and profit expectations.</p><p>The U.S. giant scored big from soaring demand for AI-optimized servers used in data centers.</p><p>Dell also heavily raised its annual revenue forecast up to $169 billion.</p><p>It's benefiting as tech giants like Alphabet and Amazon aim to spend over $700 billion on AI-related infrastructure this year.</p><p>AI giant Anthropic said it has filed paperwork to go public.</p><p>It gives it a lead over rival and ChatGPT owner OpenAI in a race that could define the future business shape of AI.</p><p>The Claude maker didn't reveal the size or the terms of the offering.&nbsp;</p><p>Its last fundraising round gave it a valuation of nearly $1 trillion, making it worth more than OpenAI.</p><p>Broadcom shares plunged as much as 13% after its latest results.</p><p>Investors were disappointed by the U.S. firm's outlook for demand, while second-quarter revenue also fell short of Wall Street hopes.</p><p>Broadcom said it expects AI chip revenue of $16 billion in the third quarter - just below expectations.</p><p>But CEO Hock Tan said the firm's long-range forecast for AI chip sales was unchanged at $100 billion.</p><p>And&nbsp;Google parent Alphabet said it's looking to raise $80 billion in equity offerings.</p><p>It wants the money to fund a costly expansion of its AI infrastructure.</p><p>That includes a $10 billion investment from Berkshire Hathaway.</p><p>The deal positions Warren Buffett's company as a major investor, and adds a high-profile endorsement of Alphabet's long-term AI and cloud strategy.</p></body>
