<body><p>STORY: U.S. stocks ended mixed on Wednesday, with the Dow adding about half a percent to notch another record high close, the S&P 500 slipping marginally and the tech-heavy Nasdaq dropping more than eight-tenths of a percent.</p><p>The Nasdaq saw its first decline in five sessions as AMD fell 7% and SpaceX stumbled nearly 14% following the release of its quarterly earnings.</p><p>SpaceX shares could face additional pressure from the expiration of the stock's post-IPO lock-up period starting on Thursday, said Shana Orczyk Sissel, founder and CEO of Banríon Capital Management.</p><p>"There will likely be a lot of folks looking to sell their positions that they've held for a long time, to monetize their investment, which they've had for a while since the company was private. That's going to put pressure on the stock.&nbsp;[FLASH] So I would not be a buyer of SpaceX until we have a better idea of what kind of float's going to be out there after these lockups expire."</p><p>:: Amgen</p><p>Outside of tech, shares of Amgen gained about four-and-a-half percent on a second-quarter sales boost for the drugmaker, helping to lift the blue-chip Dow.</p><p>Rival Eli Lilly jumped about 5% after the company raised its full-year revenue forecast.</p><p>And shares of Disney rose roughly three-and-a-half percent after the entertainment giant beat quarterly profit expectations.</p></body>
