Argentum AI signs $2.5 billion data center deal with cloud, real estate firms

Argentum AI has signed a deal worth around $2.5 billion with ‌cloud gaming firm Boosteroid and real ‌estate company DL Invest Group for a 300-megawatt data center in Europe, the artificial intelligence infrastructure provider told Reuters on Friday. Under the deal, Argentum said it will deploy graphics processing unit ‌infrastructure in a data center, with the company expected to use tens of thousands of next-generation GPUs, including Nvidia's Blackwell systems in the future. The deal will be one of the largest independent AI infrastructure projects in the region. ‌It comes as the tech industry rushes to secure compute capacity to meet soaring demand, leading to the emergence of independent infrastructure providers such as Argentum.

How SpaceX stacks up against some of the biggest US IPOs

SpaceX is targeting a valuation of roughly $1.75 trillion in its upcoming ‌initial public offering, in what could be the ‌biggest-ever stock market debut by a U.S. company on Wall Street. The listing of Elon Musk-led SpaceX could easily dwarf many of the biggest U.S. IPOs on record, including those of Alibaba, Visa and Facebook, now Meta Platforms, which analysts ‌say reflects high growth expectations from the rocket and satellite company that it may struggle to meet. Analysts ‌say SpaceX's proposed valuation reflects in part how much investors are being asked to pay for future growth.

10-Year Treasury Yield Nears Highest Level in Nearly a Year

The benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury yield is rising toward its highest level in nearly a year, as rising oil prices fan fears about inflation again. The yield topped 4.54% in early trading this morning, as Brent crude futures rose above $109 barrel. President Trump's summit with Chinese leader Xi Jinping concluded this morning, and while Trump said both he and Xi want the war to end, the meeting publicly yielded little in the way of concrete steps toward a resolution.

Stock Futures Drop as Higher Yields and Oil Prices Spook Markets

Stocks looked set to fall on Friday as investors fretted about soaring Treasury yields and President Donald Trump’s summit with China's leader Xi Jinping concluded without any meaningful breakthrough on trade. “For some time, analysts have been puzzled by equity markets’ resilience in the face of rising bond yields and clear inflationary pressures,” said Kathleen Brooks, research director at the foreign-exchange brokerage XTB. “Today we may see the pressure of rising bond yields start to weigh on equities, and futures prices suggest that U.S. indices will pull back from record highs later today and could close the week on a dampener.”
