This is AI Weekly.</p><p>:: AI Weekly</p><p>Another AI company is off and running... and, this time, it's coming from former sneaker brand Allbirds.</p><p>Allbirds&nbsp;officially changed its name to Smartbird, cementing its months-long transformation from shoemaker&nbsp;to AI infrastructure firm.</p><p>And sending its shares up more than 30%.</p><p>The move comes after the company in April said it was shifting its focus to offer cloud computing capacity...</p><p>and AI services, leading to a more than five-fold jump in its shares.&nbsp;</p><p>The newly-named Smartbird also announced the appointment of former Amazon executive Nadia Carlsten as its new CEO.</p><p>G7 leaders discussed artificial intelligence over lunch, including the liability of bots and agents...</p><p>and how AI presents truth and falsehood, on the last day of a summit of the Group of Seven.</p><p>OpenAI founder Sam Altman and Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei attended the meeting in the lakeside resort town in France.&nbsp;</p><p>U.S. President Donald Trump said negotiations with artificial intelligence company Anthropic are, quote, "going fine."</p><p>Trump made the comment to reporters at the G7 summit after the meeting between leaders and tech bosses.</p><p>Anthropic is in a dispute with the Trump administration over foreign access to its most advanced AI models.</p><p>The company had disabled access for all users to those models after Trump ordered Anthropic to block foreign ​nationals from accessing them.</p><p>Chinese AI startup DeepSeek has avoided being added to a U.S. trade blacklist.</p><p>Sources have told Reuters that Washington has held off updating the so-called Entity List.</p><p>DeepSeek, and more than 100 other Chinese companies including chipmaker CXMT, had been approved for addition to the list last year by an interagency committee.</p><p>That’s according to exclusive new reporting by Reuters.</p><p>DeepSeek has been in Washington’s crosshairs for some time.</p><p>Last year, the U.S. State Department said the firm was aiding Beijing’s military and intelligence operations.</p><p>Shares of rocket maker SpaceX soared as much as 17% this weeek...</p><p>catapulting the company's market value past Amazon's and briefly above Microsoft's.</p><p>That makes SpaceX the fifth most valuable company in the world... just days after its blockbuster public debut.</p><p>If the gains hold it will give SpaceX a market cap of around $2.6 trillion.&nbsp;</p><p>Investors piled into the world's largest IPO and bet on Elon Musk's sprawling empire spanning rockets, internet service and AI.</p><p>Anna Rathbun is&nbsp;founder and CEO of Grenadilla Advisory.</p><p>"When the multiples go up, they want to IPO.
