Airbnb Beats Expectations for Revenue, Gross Bookings Value. The Stock Is Falling.Vacation rental site Airbnb reported first-quarter revenue and gross bookings that beat expectations and raised its full-year guidance, but also said travel plans are being impacted by the conflict in the Middle East. At the same time, online travel agency Expedia Group missed first-quarter revenue expectations but reported record first-quarter profit and higher-than-expected gross bookings. Airbnb said first-quarter revenue increased 18% from a year ago to $2.7 billion, “exceeding the high end of our guidance.”
