Trump Media & Technology said Wednesday that it is no longer trying to spin off Truth Social following a proposed merger with a nuclear-fusion firm. The pause marks another U-turn for President Trump's namesake company, whose shares are down 38% this year. After Trump Media in December announced a plan to combine with TAE Technologies, executives said they were trying to split assets including the business's social-media arm into a separate company through a SPAC deal.
