Ford Recalls More Than 740,000 Vehicles Over Transmission IssueFord Motor is recalling more than 740,000 vehicles due to a transmission and parking system issue, federal regulators said. The recall covers 741,195 vehicles, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said. Dealers will update vehicle software and inspect and replace any damaged transmission components free of charge, the NHTSA said.
