Futures markets pointed higher ahead of the open, with S&P 500 E-mini contracts up 0.72% and Nasdaq 100 E-mini futures rising 1.36%, according to Reuters, as investors partly unwound Wednesday's sharp selloff. The S&P 500 lost 1.21% on Wednesday to close at 7,420.10 and the Nasdaq fell 1.34% to 26,021.66 after the Federal Reserve held rates at 3.75% but nine officials projected at least one hike by year-end, stripping away prior language that had flagged likely cuts.
