Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co, the world's largest ‌contract chipmaker, said late ‌on Tuesday it had begun gradually resuming ​operations at its Japan Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing (JASM) plant in Japan's Kumamoto prefecture after a strong earthquake prompted ‌the precautionary evacuation ⁠of workers.
