Vimeo owner Bending Spoons heads for US market debut after $1.68 billion IPO

Bending Spoons is set for its U.S. market debut later on Wednesday after the Italian technology company priced its initial public offering above ‌the range to raise $1.68 billion. The listing will test investor appetite for software companies after ‌the industry was hammered earlier this year over fears that AI could disrupt established business models. Software companies have been largely absent from the U.S. IPO market so far in 2026, even as a steady flow of large deals and SpaceX's blockbuster listing pushed second-quarter proceeds past a record-breaking $100 billion.

Small-Engine Makers Gain Big Momentum in Data Centers

A few years ago, the idea of using hundreds of small engines to power gigawatts of data-center capacity would have seemed ridiculous. More hyperscalers are seeking to hook their data centers to off-grid power, bypassing lengthy wait times to connect to the grid. Many of them are looking to smaller natural-gas turbines that have shorter wait times than the heavy-duty ones.

Galderma Shares Fall After Bid to Launch Botox Rival in U.S. Hits FDA Setback

Galderma shares fell after the Swiss skincare specialist failed to obtain approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its latest product to rival AbbVie’s Botox for the second time. Shares in Galderma were down 5.6% in European morning trading Wednesday, leaving the stock up 7% since the start of the year. The company said it received a complete response letter from the FDA declining its application for the product—marketed in some countries as Relfydess and also known as relabotulinumtoxinA—with comments related to observations during an inspection of the company’s manufacturing site and its analytical method optimization.

Citi cuts bitcoin, ether forecasts as ETF flows turn negative
