USA Rare Earth has finalized a Commerce Department deal for up to $1.6 billion in funding for its rapid buildout of a rare earth supply chain from mining to finished magnets. Despite the deal moving forward, along with an equity stake and warrants for the federal government, USAR stock pulled back following recent gains along with MP Materials and other volatile rare earth stocks. Alphabet has increased the size of its equity offerings to $84.75 billion, in a sign ‌of strong investor appetite for big tech companies as ‌they expand their AI infrastructure and computing power.
