Five people have died after an Amazon cargo plane overshot the runway at Miami International Airport, crashing into vehicles and catching fire. The plane, a Boeing 767-300 freighter operated by 21 Air, overran the runway after landing at around 2 p.m. local time on Sunday, the Federal Aviation Administration said in a social-media post on X. The FAA, which immediately launched an investigation, said the aircraft departed from Luis Munoz Marin International in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Boeing aircraft is 32 years old and was used for commercial flights between 1994 and 2015 before being converted to a cargo plane, according to flight-tracker Flightradar 24.
