Investing.com -- Airbus reported a sharp rise in second-quarter earnings on Wednesday, driven by higher commercial aircraft deliveries and improved performance across its businesses, while maintaining its full-year 2026 guidance.
Airbus said Wednesday its net profit soared 47 percent in the first half of the year thanks to increased delivery of aircraft as well as higher sales by its defence unit.Meanwhile the company said revenues at Airbus Defence and Space increased 17 percent year-on-year to 5.8 billion euros, with higher volumes across all its business lines.
