Investing.com -- Integer Holdings (NYSE:ITGR) shares surged 21% Friday afternoon following a Wall Street Journal report that private-equity firm KKR is near a deal to take the medical-device outsourcing company private.

The deal, which could come as soon as next week, would value the Plano, Texas-based company at roughly $127 a share, the people said. There are no guarantees a deal will come together.
