SentinelOne has enjoyed a strong rebound in recent years, yet over a 5 year stretch long term holders are still looking at a deep drawdown. With the stock now trading around US$23.19 and sentiment lifted by its role in AI security, the live question is whether that price can be supported by the cash flows the business is expected to generate. Over 5 years the share price return is down 61.9%, which puts the focus squarely on whether the current valuation is now more closely aligned with what...

Check out the companies making headlines yesterday:

Shares of cybersecurity AI platform provider SentinelOne (NYSE:S) jumped 2.9% in the afternoon session after the company announced it was recognized as an AI Security Platform Leader by analyst firm Latio in its 2026 AI Security Market Report.

CrowdStrike (CRWD) added $333 million of net new annual recurring revenue in fiscal Q2 2027, a record and 51% more than a year earlier. That figure is the case for a stock at its 52-week high, up 117% over the past year. It is also the number to worry about. At 44.5 times sales, the price looks built on that pace, and the company's own guide for fiscal Q3 2027 calls for a slower one.

A number of stocks jumped in the afternoon session after shares of enterprise software and SaaS companies rallied broadly as investors rotated capital out of semiconductor and AI-hardware stocks following calls for an artificial intelligence development slowdown.

CrowdStrike (CRWD) trades at $210.02, roughly double where it stood a year ago while the S&P 500 returned 19.3%, and it sits at about 91% of its 52-week high. The easy read is that the AI security trade has already happened and you are late to it. But its own recurring revenue base points at something steadier than a spike, and the price now assumes that steadiness.
