<body><p>STORY: From Nvidia drumming up cash to four legged robots keeping homes safe.</p><p>This is Tech Weekly.&nbsp;</p><p>:: Tech Weekly</p><p>Nvidia said it's partnered with six major financial institutions to launch compute financing platforms...</p><p>aimed at raising over $500 billion in third-party capital for AI infrastructure.</p><p>Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said on X that the company has the option to backstop up to $125 billion, or 25% of the potential deals.</p><p>The move highlights how surging demand for AI computing capacity is drawing institutional investors.</p><p>A U.S. appeals court allowed thousands of lawsuits to move forward against Meta Platforms, Alphabet's Google, ByteDance's TikTok and Snap Inc's Snapchat.</p><p>It's over claims they designed their products to be addictive to young users.</p><p>A San Francisco-based court rejected an appeal by Meta and TikTok seeking to overturn a lower court ruling requiring them to face more than 3,000 lawsuits filed in federal court.</p><p>&nbsp;Eyewitness video captured the moment China’s Long March 7A rocket exploded after take-off in Hainan.</p><p>State news agency Xinhua said the cause was under investigation.</p><p>The failure could trigger checks of other Chinese launches if investigators identify a problem involving shared components, manufacturing or Wenchang launch operations.</p><p>And would you trust a robot dog to keep you safe at home?</p><p>"Hey this is Landon from Undaunted products. How can I help you today?"</p><p>Robotic dogs are replacing overnight security guards at several Atlanta apartment complexes, where property managers say the machines are helping deter crime and improve safety.</p><p>At 445 Cleveland Apartments, two four-legged robots patrol the property's roughly 200 units.</p><p>The robots, operated by Atlanta-based startup Undaunted, are remotely controlled by human operators.</p><p>They monitor live camera feeds and communicate directly with residents through onboard speakers.</p></body>

"Make no mistake, we're in an AI arms race. I think you will continue to see spending."</p><p>Speaking with Reuters' Lisa Bernhard, Tengler also discussed this week's Federal Reserve policy meeting, the second under new Chair Kevin Warsh.</p><p>And though markets are pricing in rate hikes before the end of the year, Tengler said she believes Warsh will "persuade his colleagues that raising [rates] would be perilous in this environment."</p></body>
