Nvidia has more than halved the number of Asian customers authorized to buy its AI chips after creating a new "white list" of companies that have passed tougher compliance checks aimed at preventing the products from reaching China, the Financial Times reported on Monday. The price of Brent crude, the international standard, gained 3.9% to $78.96 per barrel, while U.S. benchmark crude oil added 4% to $74.26 per barrel. Prices for both types of crude oil recently had slipped back to the levels they were at before the war with Iran began, after the two sides set an interim agreement on ending the conflict and ships resumed transporting oil through the Strait of Hormuz.
